WOW, Seriously....

Ok, I know what you are thinking...."Heather, who is Heather. I haven't heard from a Heather in forever...." I may not be the quick thinking, witty, sarcastic, fun blog writer, but I do have some things to share....Please do not give up on me.
I gave up all things involving typing on a computer for the summer. I needed a break from the school addiction to the computer, and well, it currently lives on the top of my dresser as I gave up my beloved office so my children could be separate...AKA so they wont kill each other!
In the meantime, we continued to work on the basement and finish (ha ha ha if you know my hubby) our projects and my office will be relocated to my craft/office room downstairs. That being said, I can escape wonderfully and grade papers in silence...(ha ha ha if you know my children).

I have had an amazing summer, working at the Y, chillin at home. I even read like 6 books for pleasure....I took a really cool trip with my mom, my grandma, and my aunt to Salmon, Idaho to see the places they lived and where I lived when I was young. I included some pictures of that trip. We had a great time and I think I got to know so much more about my family, my mom, my aunt and my grandma. It was a wonderful trip....NO KIDS was a bonus! While I was away, Sal took the girls to the rodeo and they had a great time. My Grandma stayed on an extra week and we had fun family get-togethers. I am exhausted now, but am finishing up my final week of camps at the Y. I taught an environmental crafts camp, a garden decorations camp and a fabric art camp, they kept me very busy and I think I may officially be the new craft director of the Y....so if they don't hire teachers next year at least I have something to fall back on....ha ha.

School starts soon and life will begin to be crazy, but hopefully a bit less as I will be in the classroom doing what I love most, teaching. Graduation is only a mere 9 months away and I am ready...

Enjoy the pictures!
This is my motley crew of a family.....My aunt is peeking her head in the back...
My aunt, uncle, mom and grandma. Hard to hide the resemblance.
My grandma and I.
This is the library my mom had access to in her small town Gibbonsville, in Idaho. She said she read every book...can you imagine???
This is my mom running after she "tagged" the Gibbonsville sign with a Max memorial sticker. She tagged everywhere we went.
This is the bar I spent some of my early years, ages 2-3, living above and carousing. My mom worked there and I loved snacking on the popcorn.
This is my mom, aunt and grandma.
Me, mom and grandma. We are at a rock on the side of the road that gives the most wonderful spring mountain water. I have never tasted anything so cold and clean. It was great!
