Ok, so I am seriously, SERIOUSLY overdue for a posting on this baby. I will tell you all here and now, I am sorry. Sorry because I did not send Christmas cards or Thank you notes this year. I have been self-absorbed and completely engulfed in school. I still love you all and fully intend to send a great Christmas card next year. Now that that is out of the way....What have we been up to since December? Well, lots I suppose.
I will just attach pictures to the end of this post and hopefully you will enjoy them and from their content be able to decipher which of the categories to follow they fall in to.
So we had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year. We made it through Valentine's day and are cruising steadily toward St Paddy's day (I am salivating at the thought of corn beef and cabbage as we speak). We have had one father-daughter girl scout dance, sold girl scout cookies and have officially been awarded a Gold star at the Learning Fair. Olivia is continuing to explore the wonderful world of reading and Syd is continuing to love school and explore all the fun of being a 1st grader, especially becoming toothless. Sydney received a sewing machine for Christmas and both girls are now learning to sew. Syd has made an apron and a pillow for her friends for birthdays (whoohoo that saves momma some money). Olivia also made a pillow with a little pocket for your tooth! A tooth-fairy pillow. It is nice to know that all that material I bought all those years ago is going to some use, at least someone is sewing with it.
School as a mommy and a perfectionist is, as always, crazy. I am continuing to do well and am hoping for straight A's again this semester, but I am challenged by this course load. If all goes well, in about 3 weeks I will know what school I will be student teaching at. Thus far though, there is a possibility it will be Anser Charter School. Which will be a cool experience, I think. I have continued on my diet and am still losing. I am officially 14 inches smaller, I have lost 5 in both the bust and waist, and 4 in the hips. A girl can't complain about that....
That's about it for now, sorry I cant talk long, back to doing linguistics homework!
OK mama, I need to see those pictures you said you would put on here! I am all the way in Cheyenne, and I need to see those babies!
ReplyDeleteAfter about 10 tries, the pictures are officially there, although not all of them. It was a bear just getting these on there, so I am sorry, but no more for now...I think I can email you pictures easier than these were loading!
